On 14 July 2017, Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted a Political Working Lunch at Microsoft Headquarters in Reading. Richard Ashworth MEP, a Conservative representing the South East of England, provided his thoughts on the outcome of the General Election and the priorities for the UK Government, with a particular focus on the implications of Brexit, given his role as MEP.  Members of the audience were able to ask questions and provide comments on the topics covered.

At this event, attended by senior members of the local business community, information was provided on EDIC Thames Valley’s services and attendees were encouraged to contact the centre with questions on living and working in the EU.
